Arno Kramer werkt als beeldend kunstenaar in Nederland en Ierland. In zijn werk is hij altijd op zoek naar een zekere weerstand. Figuratie met raven, reeën, zwanen en hazen zet hij tegenover rasters of meer intuïtieve vormen en stippen. Het gebruik van houtskool, aquarel en potlood bepaalt de kracht of juist zachtheid in het werk. Hij heeft diverse tentoonstellingen samengesteld speciaal met tekeningen. De expositie Into Drawing - Hedendaagse Nederlandse Tekeningen reisde naar vijf Europese landen. Samen met Diana Wind stelde hij All About Drawing samen, een overzicht van 50 jaar Nederlandse tekenkunst met werk van 100 kunstenaars. In 2008 richtte hij Drawing Centre Diepenheim op en was er acht jaar curator. Hij publiceert over beeldende kunst en schrijft poëzie.

Arno Kramer works as a visual artist in the Netherlands and Ireland. In his work, he is always searching for a certain resistance. He contrasts figurative representations of ravens, deer, swans, and hares with grids or more intuitive shapes and dots. The use of charcoal, watercolour, and pencil determines the power or softness of the work. He has curated several exhibitions specifically featuring drawings. The exhibition Into Drawing - Contemporary Dutch Drawings travelled to five European countries. Together with Diana Wind, he curated All About Drawing, an overview of 50 years of Dutch drawing art with work by 100 artists. In 2008, he founded Drawing Centre Diepenheim and was its curator for eight years. He publishes on visual art and writes poetry.
